A Special Industrial Gathering at the Jordanian Investors Association

Fathi Al-Jaghbir, President of the Amman and Jordan Chambers of Industry, Mr. Mujahid Al-Rajabi, President of the Jordanian Investors Association, together with the Association’s Board of Directors, welcomed industrialists from the Sahab and Al-Muwaqqar areas to discuss key issues and opportunities in the industrial sector. Al-Jaghbir stressed the importance of partnership and integration between the Amman Chamber of Industry and regional industrial associations, praising the significant role played by the Jordanian Investors Association in following up on industrialists’ concerns, as it is geographically closest and in direct contact with industrialists in the Sahab and Al-Muwaqqar Industrial Cities. Al-Rajabi reviewed the Association’s achievements, which cover a geographical area of more than 600 factories with investments exceeding 6 billion Jordanian dinars, employing more than 26,000 workers. He also praised the great support provided by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, may God protect him, to industrialists, highlighting the quality services offered by the Association to its members, including: * Specialized training programs in cooperation with local and international centers and universities. * Opening a Jordan Food and Drug Administration office in the Association’s building. * Cooperation with the Land Transport Regulatory Commission to improve transport services to industrial cities. * Signing agreements with shipping, transportation, and consulting companies to serve industrialists at competitive prices. The meeting included a presentation by Dr. Haneen Hassouneh, the Association’s Director, on the Association’s activities and services, as well as a discussion of the challenges facing factories, with Al-Jaghbir directing that these issues be followed up with the relevant authorities. The Jordanian Investors Association continues to represent and support its members, while strengthening strategic partnerships that serve the industrial sector and support the national economy.
