The Jordanian Investors Association signed a grant agreement to train and employ 100 young men and women under the DigiSkills Program as part of the Youth, Technology and Jobs Project at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
As part of efforts to strengthen public-private sector partnerships and support Jordan’s direction toward the digital economy and youth empowerment, the Jordanian Investors Association signed a cooperation agreement under the DigiSkills grant, which aims to train and employ youth in productive sectors.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Jordanian Investors Association by its President, Mr. Mujahid Al-Rajabi, while it was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship by the Ministry’s Secretary General, Ms. Samira Al-Zoubi, representing the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
The agreement aims to train and employ 100 young men and women by equipping them with advanced technical and professional skills aligned with labor market needs, contributing to supplying factories with qualified talent in modern technological fields.
The Association emphasized that its role extends beyond training, as it will also directly provide employment opportunities through its network of member factories and facilitate effective matching between factories’ job and skills requirements and the trainees to ensure their employment upon completion of the training.
This agreement comes within the Jordanian Investors Association’s ongoing efforts to support youth, develop their capabilities, and enhance employment opportunities in the industrial sector, in line with the Economic Modernization Vision and the achievement of sustainable development.
