2024-06-05JIA held an introductory workshop on the most prominent programs and incentives offered by the Ministry of Labor at its headquarters in Sahab, where the association hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Labor represented by Mrs. Najah Al-Braiqi, Mr. Muhammad Mishal, Mr. Qusay Al-Kurdi, and Mr. Hussein Al-Hasanat. The workshop was opened by the President of JIA, Mr. Assem Samara, who welcomed the ministerial delegation, investors, and industrialists interested in registering in these two programs, which specialize in employment programs, incentive programs, and productive branches. Mrs. Najah Al-Braiqi gave a comprehensive introduction about these programs, their importance to industrialists and investors, and how to benefit from them. Then, Mr. Muhammad Mishal began a presentation on the incentives for the productive branches, which aim to employ Jordanian workers and reduce unemployment rates in many regions in the Kingdom. Mr. Qusay Al-Kurdi then gave a detailed presentation on the employment programs and highlighted what the Ministry offers, which includes support for salaries and training programs to qualify employees of establishments and factories. Mr. Hassan Al-Hassanat then spoke in detail about the National Employment Platform, which is considered a pioneering national platform that aims to connect establishments, factories, and service and commercial institutions with the required competencies. This session comes within a series of targeted initiatives and ongoing events through which the association is keen to keep its members constantly informed of the latest information and programs related to industrial affairs.
