Jordan Investors Association contributes to local community employment
2024-10-07In continuation of its ongoing efforts to support the local community and empower young youth to obtain decent job opportunities, the the Islamic Relief Organization IRO, in cooperation with Jordan Investors Association JIA, held an open day for factories to interview and determine their needs from the local community that held last August.
Where IRO, filtered all applications from candidates and coordinated interviews with factories in a program funded and provided by the Islamic Relief Organization, which includes a capacity building for jobs with payment of 50% of the agreed upon salaries for a maximum period of 6 months to enable youth to obtain decent jobs and join the industiral market in a agile manner.
In turn, the General Manager of the JIA, Dr. Haneen Hassouna, confirmed that these programs leave a clear positive impact between the industrial sector and the local community, which is clearly reflected in the process of reducing unemployment.
This project resulted many employment oppurtinities were filtered according to the needs of factories in an organized process during the last month, which reduced the costs and procedures of regular recruitment, stressing that the Association is a strategic and real partner for factories that works to provide the necessary climate to support them and encourage the growth of local industries.
The projects and programs of the Jordan Investors Association continue, in cooperation with its partners and all international and local organizations, to develop the industrial area and provide it with what is necessary within clear missions and work plans that are consistent with the requirements of young men and women and the needs of factories at the same time.
