JIA Participates in the 12th WUF12

The Jordanian Investors Association JIA participated in the activities of the 12th World Urban Forum, which was held in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt from November 4 to November 8 in Cairo. This participation comes within the effective role played by the Investors Association in finding solutions to combat environmental pollution and climate change and finding ways for industrial solidarity and sustainable industry.

In turn, the Director of the Association, Dr. HaneenHassouna, participated in one of the discussion pannels of the forum to talk more about the role of the private sector in development and sustainability, in which she presented contributions about the responsible role of the private sector in enhancing the process of adapting to climate change, specifically for the industrial sector.

This participation comes within the activities carried out by JIA in the project to study environmental pollution and climate change in the city of Sahab in cooperation with the UN Habitat organization by employing many standard tools, through which the Association seeks to increase environmental awareness in the industrial city and provide a better climate environment for industrialists and benefit from industrial resources alike.
